I love to use vibrant colors and scribbles to illustrate the natural world. I'm inspired by flowers and animals, and I aim to create a space where they jump off the the margins of my notebooks and into the trappings of everyday life. I believe that all people should have access to the arts, so I strive to create illustrations that bridge the community to creativity and inspire positive relationships between humans and nature.
When I'm not drawing, I spend my time in gardens. It's through the mindfulness of pulling weeds, hearing the birds chatter, and feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin that I find the fuel for my work. Art is one way that I can channel these joys into an aesthetic experience for someone else, and at the end of the day, that's what it's all about.
